About this service
Gopalan Aerospace makes UAV airframes and drone parts for other companies as well as its own GM-series multirotors. Its composites division in Hoskote, near Bengaluru, has a 3 m by 7 m autoclave, an ISO Class 7 clean room, CNC ply cutting, waterjet cutting and ultrasonic and mechanical testing, and the brochure shows a composite fixed-wing VTOL airframe built there. A Stratasys F900 3D printer working in ULTEM 9085 produces prototypes of drones, UAV parts, jigs, fixtures and composite moulds to about 0.1 mm. CNC machining and sheet-metal fabrication are available for metal parts. The company states AS9100 Rev D and ISO 9001:2015 certification. Pricing is not published.
