About this product
The A-Series ESC 80A is a field oriented control (FOC) speed controller from Reflex Drive for 6S to 12S LiPo multirotor drives. It is rated 55 A continuous and 80 A peak for under 120 seconds, both tested with 12.5 m/s airflow. Control is by PWM or CAN; telemetry over CAN covers voltage, current, motor RPM, PCB temperature and fault status. The PWM input is isolated, braking is supported and motor direction can be inverted over CAN. It has no BEC. The CNC-machined aluminium housing measures 93 x 38 x 29 mm and weighs 203 g including wires, with an operating range of -20 to +65 C. A brochure and CAD files are linked from the product page.
