About this product
TAVAS is a surveillance quadcopter from Throttle Aerospace Systems, the Bengaluru drone maker majority-owned by NeoSky (RattanIndia). It carries a gimbal-mounted 10x zoom camera for day and night observation and uses LiDAR on six sides for obstacle avoidance. On-board AI functions cover crowd detection, vehicle recognition, foreign-object identification and number-plate reading. TAS lists up to 45 minutes of flight on a custom LiPo pack, a 10 m/s cruise and 26 m/s top speed, a maximum control range of 3 km on an FHSS 2.4 GHz link, IP54 protection and operation up to 120 m above ground. TAS says it can be integrated with ground-based long-range detection systems. Weight and payload capacity are not published.
