Sources and corrections
Dronestacks, run by Dronestacks Private Limited, lists drone makers and their products so buyers can find and compare them in one place. This page explains where that information comes from, and how to ask us to add, correct or remove it.
1. Where our information comes from
- The maker's own material: its official website, product pages, brochures, datasheets, manuals and official social media accounts.
- Public records: such as DGCA type certificates and the DigitalSky portal, and company registration details published by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
- What a company sends us when it asks to be listed or manages its own page.
We don't use marketplaces, resellers or reviews as a source for specifications. We write descriptions in our own words, convert specifications to common units so products can be compared, and mark anything the maker doesn't publish as “Ask the vendor”. We keep a note of the sources behind each listing.
Product names, photos, logos and brochures belong to their owners. We show them only to identify the products and makers listed, and link to the maker's own documents where we can.
2. What a listing does and doesn't mean
- A company page that doesn't say “Managed by the company” was put together by the Dronestacks team from public information. The company hasn't necessarily reviewed it, and being listed doesn't mean the company endorses, partners with or is affiliated with Dronestacks.
- Listing a product isn't a recommendation or a guarantee by Dronestacks. Information can change or contain mistakes; check anything that matters with the maker before you buy. See our disclaimer.
3. Ask us to add, correct or remove something
Listing is free, and so is every change. You can ask us to:
- Correct a specification, description, photo, document, certification or company detail.
- Add products we haven't listed, or new documents and photos.
- Remove a listing, a photo or your whole company page.
To help us act quickly, write from an email address on your company's own domain, and include a link to the official page or brochure that shows the right information. We check requests before making changes, so we may ask you to confirm who you are. If your company already manages its page, you can make most changes yourself in the vendor portal.
