About this product
JASPER is Vecros's compact autonomous drone for warehouses, plants and other indoor sites where GPS is unavailable. It navigates with onboard SLAM using 360-degree LiDAR (30 m range) and ultrasonic sensors, holding position to about 5 cm and flying repeatable 3D patrol routes with one-click launch. A carbon-fibre frame with integrated propeller guards measures 245 x 245 x 85 mm and weighs 890 g without battery. Sensing includes a 12 MP 4K/60 fps camera with LED lighting and a 640 x 512 thermal camera, processed on an NVIDIA Jetson Orin with 40 TOPS, 8 GB RAM and a 512 GB SSD. Flight time is up to 35 minutes; the 2.4/5.8 GHz link is AES-256 encrypted and carries 1080p 30 fps video. Uses include stock counts, thermal checks of machinery and tank inspection.
