About this product
SurveyPod V1 Tilt is the tilt-compensating version of Nibrus Technologies' SurveyPod V1 GNSS receiver. An inertial measurement unit in the receiver head corrects the recorded position when the survey pole is leaning, up to 60 degrees in any direction. Surveyors can then record points without levelling the bubble, and can reach fences, walls, slopes and other spots where a vertical pole cannot stand. The maker states a one-second initialisation (95 percent) and centimetre-level tilt accuracy, about 1 cm up to 30 degrees of tilt. It is used with the SurveyPod survey app for point capture and stake-out. The tilt page does not repeat the receiver's GNSS specifications.
