About this product
The KV1000 winding of the Flameback 3120 trades the KV500's efficiency for higher RPM and faster thrust response, and is aimed at performance VTOLs and payload drones on 6S. In the maker's catalogue test with a 10x5 tri-blade prop it produced 4546 g at full throttle and about 2064 g at half throttle, drawing close to 85 A at the top. Flameback rates it at 90 A maximum current and 2000 W tested peak power, lists 180 g with cables and a 12N14P winding, and suggests a 120 A class ESC. The catalogue also includes a second test with an 18 inch prop.
