About this product

The 6040 FW 160 KV is a fixed-wing brushless outrunner designed and built by Vector Technics in Hyderabad for fixed-wing and VTOL forward-flight propulsion. It runs on 44V - 50V (12S LiPo) and is rated 52A and 2391 W continuous for 180 seconds, with a torque constant of 0.058 Nm/A and no-load current of 3.7A (@48V). The motor uses a 24-slot, 28-pole layout with Triple (2 x 619/6-2Z Sealed , 1 x 628/8-2Z Sealed) bearings, measures 80 mm across by 67 mm long, weighs 865 g ± 2 % and has an M 10 LH threaded shaft. Vector Technics lists 28" to 30" propellers as compatible. In the maker's bench data the highest recorded thrust is about 18.6 kg, measured with a TM 30 x 10.5 propeller.
